SKYGEN NETWORK SDN. BHD. (“SKYGEN NETWORK”, “Skygen”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is committed to conducting business ethically, responsibly and with integrity.
We maintain a zero-tolerance approach towards bribery and corruption and expect our directors, employees, representatives, service providers, contractors, vendors, business partners and other parties acting on our behalf to uphold the same standards.
1. Our Commitment
SKYGEN NETWORK is committed to conducting its business fairly, transparently and in compliance with applicable anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws in Malaysia.
We do not tolerate bribery, corruption, kickbacks or other improper practices in any form.
2. Use of This Website
This Policy applies to SKYGEN NETWORK's directors, employees and representatives and, where relevant, to contractors, consultants, vendors, service providers, business partners and other persons acting for or on behalf of SKYGEN NETWORK.
3. Bribery and Corruption
No person acting for or on behalf of SKYGEN NETWORK may directly or indirectly offer, promise, give, request, receive or accept any bribe, improper payment or other benefit intended to improperly influence a decision or obtain an unfair business advantage.
This applies to dealings with both private-sector parties and public officials.
4. Gifts, Entertainment and Hospitality
Reasonable gifts, entertainment or hospitality may only be offered or accepted where they are lawful, appropriate, transparent and not intended to influence a business decision improperly.
Gifts or benefits that could create, or appear to create, an obligation, conflict of interest or improper influence should not be offered or accepted.
5. Facilitation Payments and Kickbacks
SKYGEN NETWORK prohibits facilitation payments, kickbacks and unofficial payments made to improperly secure, accelerate or influence a service, approval, decision or business outcome.
6. Conflicts of Interest
Directors, employees and representatives are expected to avoid situations where personal interests may conflict, or appear to conflict, with the interests of SKYGEN NETWORK.
Any actual or potential conflict of interest should be disclosed promptly to Management.
7. Third Parties and Business Partners
SKYGEN NETWORK expects service providers, vendors, contractors, consultants and business partners engaged by the Company to conduct business ethically and comply with applicable anti-bribery and anti-corruption requirements.
Where appropriate, SKYGEN NETWORK may conduct reasonable due diligence before entering into or continuing business relationships.
8. Donations and Sponsorships
Charitable contributions, sponsorships and similar support must be made for legitimate purposes and must not be used as a means to obtain an improper business advantage or influence a decision.
Such contributions are subject to appropriate approval and record keeping.
9. Accurate Records
All transactions, payments, expenses and business records must be recorded accurately and transparently.
SKYGEN NETWORK prohibits false, misleading, incomplete or disguised records intended to conceal improper payments or activities.
10. Reporting Concerns
Anyone who becomes aware of suspected bribery, corruption or other improper conduct involving SKYGEN NETWORK is encouraged to report the matter promptly.
Reports should be made in good faith and may be submitted through the Company's designated reporting or management channel.
SKYGEN NETWORK will handle reports appropriately and will not tolerate retaliation against individuals who raise genuine concerns in good faith.
11. Breach of This Policy
Any breach of this Policy may result in appropriate disciplinary, contractual or other action, subject to applicable laws and the circumstances of the matter.
Where required, suspected unlawful conduct may also be referred to the relevant authorities.
12. Review of This Policy
SKYGEN NETWORK may review and update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in its business operations, risk environment, regulatory requirements or applicable laws.
The latest version will be published on the SKYGEN NETWORK website.
